They say the Devil makes work for idle hands. As most of my photographs are taken out and about at events, the Covid-19 lockdown obliged me to think more about studio lighting, and the only subject I had to hand was myself. A friend was running weekly virtual pub nights and, to add a bit of variety, he started having themes. Some of these photos were inspired by these themes; others I can’t really explain
